I Need Some Opinions

So this is something I am going to be placing for sale on my Etsy shop. What I want to know from any of my readers are the following things:

  • How much would you pay for this?
  • It's currently about 5" square, would you change the size and if so, how big/small?
  • Do you agree with me that the ribbons should be a tad shorter?
  • Do you like it better with two ribbons on each edge or would one be okay, too?

I think that's everything I was thinking of...if any of you have any other pertinent feedback about the item, I welcome that, too. Hope to hear from someone soon :) Thanks!

So darling!!! I love it. I would say, yes shorter ribbons. I think the size is fine, but if you go bigger, just make it more $$. Bigger would be fun as well or a set of a big, medium, small??? I don't know....it is just so stinkin' cute!!! As for price...I am horrible with this stuff, but I would say I would pay around $10 for a 5"? I don't know, but I love it!

i would say definately smaller ribbons, and i think one on each side would be okay too, but the two on each side looks great. It is really cute! I don't know about price $8-$13 somewhere in there... But I don't know how much time it took nor the price of the materials you used. Let me know what you're thinking on price. I think I want some to give away!

I think smaller ribbons, two on each side. I agree with the options of small, medium, large, but if I had to go with one - well, I'd probably take whatever you offered. Price? $5-$10? $7 -that's in the middle.

Very Cute Idea!! I would do two ribbons on some sides and 1 one others - I don't know - It looks too girly for a boy toy - so shorter and fewer ribbons would compensate? Looks like fun though - I am impressed

I forgot - I wanted to know - does it have a rattle or something inside so it makes noise? That would be fun!

Smaller ribbon loops for sure, and perhaps not quite so many. I like the suggestion of putting a bell inside. We've actually got a soft cube with a bell in it that Carston really enjoys. I'd pay $5 for it, but I'm pretty cheap, so I may not be the one to ask.

I think I'd like it better with fewer ribbons and shorter too. I can just see Lydia's hand getting caught in the ribbons. I agree with most of the other comments. A bell in the middle is a cute idea, but then you couldn't bring it to church. The size seems good - 5". $5 to $7 is definately resonable. What about some fabric that has letter or numbers on it?

Hey there...what a cute Etsy shop and a cute baby girl! Glad you guys are doing well. I love the cube. The different-textured fabric is perfect, and I like the ribbons. I think they would be better shorter, and maybe even wider. I think some sides should have one for a more whimsical, varied look. I like the 5" size, and think a larger cube would be fun also. I would charge at least $10, maybe $15 for this. For sure. It's handmade and so super cute. You are a great seamstress...keep up the good work!
